Cathie Bachy, M. Ed.

Committed to Courageous Leadership

My dedication to courageous leadership began early in my career, when, right out of college I joined the Peace Corps and worked as a teacher in Morocco.

In the last decade my work has been with a Fortune 500 corporation in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.  There I manage the company’s foundation and am a leader in the company’s philanthropic work.

Through this work I’ve learned a lot about the challenges of teams within organizations both in a corporate environment and in the non profit sector. I’ve advised and coached development directors and executive directors of small to mid size non-profit organizations in the arts and education field.

My passion for coaching comes from my dedication to courageous leadership.  I believe coaching offers solutions for individuals and organizations to the many complex challenges of our time.

Coaching offers a process that guides us to know ourselves and that brings us to greater clarity and peace on this journey of fully becoming who we aspire to be.

My training as an ontological coach is from the internationally acclaimed and ICF accredited, Newfield Network.  I’ve studied with Newfield’s founder, Julio Ollala and master coaches from this organization.

Coaching is a life long practice for me, one in which I am always learning and growing.  I am continually seeking out new trends and developments in the fields of coaching, human behavior, psychology, organizational learning and development, and personal transformation.

I live in Seattle, Washington with my family.
